Pisces

As you walked in the door the hostess made you feel welcome, even without a reservation they are glad you came , come in we have room and food -that's the feeling you get. The ambiance is lovely the veiw spectacular, it like eating on the water. The service was second to none, notheing was too much trouble, even taking pictures of us. The food was delicious, well prepared, and presented beautifully. It was the best dinner we had during our stay in Barbados can't wait to eat there again.

Why this restaurant is under the heading of Scottish on this website I will never know, perhaps the owner is Scottish! What I do know is that Pisces, if not very Scottish one iota, is certainly one the loveliest restaurants in Barbados. Situated overlooking the bay in St Lawrence Gap its a wonderfully romantic spot for dinner, especially if you book a table railside. I have been visiting Pisces for several years now and it just seems to get better and better, fantastic fish and seafood with beautiful presentation, charming, smiley wait staff, lush tropical vegetation, even the plates are lovely! The food on my last visit was incredible, so good we went twice during our stay in Barbados, although we were disappointed to note the portions on our second visit was somewhat smaller than on our first visit! I suppose it depends who is serving up that night, but when the food is this good you will want as much of it as possible! My husband had the seared scallops with risotto, parmesan and truffle oil to start, I had the seared tuna, both were so scrumptious. The salmon and barracuda we had to follow were also totally wonderous. Thoroughly recommended.
