We went for a meal on Sunday 25th April 2010 and were sat near the door, the last table, as we hadn't booked on this cabaret night. It took 35 minutes for our order to be taken and another 30 minutes for the starter to be banged onto our table by a passing, wordless waitress - potato skins. But they weren't potato skins, they were fried potato peelings, a quite different and frankly revolting dish.
A drunk sat outside on the step near us and was stepped over by the arriving cabaret, two giant West Indian men, unconvincingly wearing dresses. The din from the band next door was deafening.
Now almost ninety minutes into our evening and still no main course, we decided to pay for what we'd had and leave - and were asked to pay a 10% service charge! No apology from the guy who said he was the owner.
I cannot believe how bad this restaurant was in every respect. I would recommend you to try this place to experience catering at its very, very worst.

This is a real discovery: an affordable, lively place that serves authentic island cuisine. It’s the only restaurant in Barbados in a traditional chattel house. The broiled T-bones are juicy and perfectly flavored; there’s always an offering of fresh fish; and vegetarians can enjoy stir-fried vegetables with noodles. Other highlights include blackened fish, the local version of a spicy West Indian curry, and a zesty jerk chicken salad.
