The Bagatelle Great House Restaurant

We tried this restaurants because I love Brazilian bbq. I have been to at least 25 different Brazilian restaurants all over the world including Brazil. This is at the bottom of the list. We visited this place for lunch on a Sunday, Dec.5,2009.

The salad bar was ok, and I would say the smallest one that I ever visited. The soup was good, but the rest is ordinary.

The manager told us that there are 10 different cuts of meat for lunch, and 15 for dinner. We counted 7 during our lunch.The meats were bland, and overcooked, specially the pork. The sausage was inedible due to the absence of good seasoning. The chicken was good but that's about it. The presentation and appearance of the meat was great until when flavor hits your mouth. It taste like 2rd grade meat. I don't expect prime but at least choice. Maybe because I been to some excellent ones in the U.S. and South America.

For people who have very little or no experience with good Brazilian churrasqueria, this restaurant might appear very good, I'm sure the restaurant would have a great ambience at night, and good service, but if your looking for a good churrasqueria, this restaurant falls short.

Paulo's Churrasco do Brazil at Bagatelle Great House is a MUST Eat at Steak House. Before you are served your variety of BBQ'd meats at your table by passador's there is a large selection of salads and other Brazilian and Barbadian delectibles on The Salad Bar to choose from. It is a gastronomical delight ... it just keeps on drawing Locals and Visitors each night of the week. However, we have found it is closed on Monday evenings.

Do indulge yourself to a Great Feast...enjoy it as we have many times.

A visit to Paulo's is a must while visiting the Island of Barbados!

The Brazilian concept is fantastic! It is truly an experience and the food and service are fantastic! Bagatelle is a must stop on your visit to Barbados.
