Zen Restaurant

I had also really bad experience at ZEN. At first, my wife and I were seated by the bar even though we made a reservation a few days in advance and there were many open tables. Anyways, after an inquiry we got a better table. However, the table we got was really dirty. We could literally write on it:) In addition, glass was also dirty. ZEN is definitely overrated. I can rate it as highly as fast food bars in NY. Actually, those fast food bars sometimes offer better service. All in all, AVOID this place!

Having gone to the trouble of booking 3 months in advance, myself and my family arrived at the restaurant for an early dinner last night, only to be offered a booth at the back of the room, with no view of the rest of the restaurant, let alone the requested window table overlooking the beach below.
We had asked for this table at the time of booking, and were initially told that these were reserved for groups of 5 ( we were a party of 4 ).
When we asked why the empty restaurant had a table set for 4 overlooking the beach, we were then told that this had been requested by the manager.
Clearly we had been bumped!
I cannot tell you what the food was like, because we left and ate at the Fishpot in St Lucy, where the staff are friendly and honest and the food is fantastic.
Anyone thinking of making the trip to Zen should be warned.
