The Cliff
our comments
Situated on top of a 3-meter tall coral cliff over looking the Caribbean Sea, this open-air restaurant has the food to match the beautiful scenery. Although The Cliff uses nothing, but the freshest, choicest ingredients and attracts such big names as Prince Andrew, the atmosphere is surprisingly casual. Make sure you look down during dinner because you might catch a glimpse of the sea life swimming by in the illuminated waters below.- October 2004

i,ve just read the mixed reports on The Cliff. Now i,m worried! Has my favourite restaurant lost its way? We regularly visited up to about 6 years ago ( about 12 times ) but have not been since the extension was completed. I remember an amazing setting with fantastic food (i.e open ravioli of scallops) and attentive staff. It was so good we even sent a car to fetch friends from the other end of the island to ensure they visited! Has it changed or is it still worth the9 hour flight?

I have been to the Cliff several times and agree with the majority of the reviews here. Those who are critical of it view the food in isolation of the whole dining experience. To be honest, I would be happy with beans on toast at the Cliff. It is an amazing reataurant.

This restaurant certainly lives up to its reputation! In a beautiful location on a coral cliff with the Caribbean sea lapping a small sandy cove. The ambience is wonderful as the whole restaurant is candlelit making it very romantic. Excellent food beautifly presented and excellent service from friendly staff. The hot chocolate pudding was wonderful! Go on.....treat yourself!!
